Oak Ridge Swim Club boasts a beautiful and professionally maintained pool containing more than 150,000 gallons of water.

Normal Pool Operating Hours

  • Monday – Saturday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Sunday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Recreational Pool

The recreational pool has eight 25-meter lanes and progresses 10-foot deep diving area.  The pool also offers 2 diving boards and water volleyball.  The large deck area surrounding the pool has tables and umbrellas for seating, chaise lounges for sunning, and an upstairs deck with umbrellas and tables.  Also available is a grassy area for play and a cafe that is open daily during the summer season.

Children’s Pool

The children’s pool is for infants and children up to 6 years old.  Children must be supervised at all times.

Facilities Manager

Alex teaches AP Literature & Composition and Honors English IV at Northwest Guilford High School. He currently serves as the chair of the School-Based Leadership Team and as the student council advisor. Alex is also the 2018 NWHS Teacher of the Year.

Alex has spent fifteen years working part-time in the food service industry and enjoys working with the public. When not at work, Alex enjoys reading, cars, photography, and travel. He annually hosts educational tours to Europe for his students in addition to his vacations.

Kayla has grown up in Oak Ridge and has been a member of Oak Ridge Swim Club since she was five years old. She graduated from Wesleyan Christian Academy in 2014 and continued her education at Appalachian State University. She has been a lifeguard at Oak Ridge Swim Club since 2013, along with the Greensboro Aquatic Center from October 2013 to December 2014, where she was a lifeguard and swim instructor. Kayla worked at Walt Disney World as a lifeguard at Disney’s Boardwalk and Disney’s Yacht Club for a semester in 2017.
